The average age of our residents is 85 - with a range of early 60's all the way up to 101 years young!

What programs or activities does Oceanview Senior Living offer to enrich residents' well-being?

We have a large and varied activities program, from weekly bingo (always a favorite) to educational presentations monthly by our county geriatric mental health counselor. We also offer some great trips and outings - whether it is weekly shopping trips, to see the sites at our beautiful Oregon Coast Aquarium, or to enjoy the buffet and entertainment at Chinook Winds Casino. When the weather is nice, we offer several trips a month for fishing and crabbing. All provided at no charge to our residents.

What places are near Oceanview Senior Living or within walking distance for assisted living residents to enjoy?

We have a beautiful ground for walking, or just enjoying the sunshine and gardens. We also offer trips several times per month to local attractions such as the Newport or Depoe Bay Bayfront shops, local lighthouses and other historic spots!

What transportation services does Oceanview Senior Living offer to assisted living residents?

We offer transport on our bus for all activities off site, as well as local medical appointments, physical therapy, the Newport rec center and the Newport 60+ Center.

What makes the chef or dining program at Oceanview Senior Living exceptional? What kind of menu can assisted living residents expect?

Our new menu features 2 entree choices per meal, giving residents great alternatives. We also offer off-menu items like burgers, chef salads and fruit plates, so there is something that appeals to everyone!

Pull cords in every room, speaker in each apartment for communication with front desk, 24/7 awake staff, locked access doors over night

All indoor spaces except for dining room. Garden and walkway around building with grass and doggy bags.
