Evergreen Estates is on the outskirts of Lancaster city, in Bridgeport. We are set back off the main road, and are very convenient to reach, while still having a country feeling.

Evergreen Estates offers a robust activities department that offers our residents the ability to be as active as they would like to be. Out door sing a longs, bingo, crafts, live music, shopping trips, socials, and many more fun activities to choose await you!

Evergreen Estates utilizes a household setting model to help our memory care residents with memory retention, seeing familiar patterns, and meals are eaten together with staff on hand.

We will contact your next of kin or POA if there are any concerns you feel need addressed, or that we see, and are always happy to meet with and speak with the appropriate family members. We are proud of our open door policy with administration.

Our Memory Care unit is a locked facility on premise. Signing in and out for residents and family members is required. We do routine timely checks, have an enclosed and secure courtyard for memory care, and have staff in memory care 24/7 along with a fulltime activities aid.

Documentation and Communication are foundational points in the continuing care levels that we provide our residents. Phone calls, emails and our open door policy make sure that your loved one is well taken care of and you are able to stay informed about their wellbeing.

Our residents are the heart of who we are. The average age is 70 years old with the youngest being 55 years old. Our residents have a wide array of activities they enjoy from going to work, to coloring, music, movies, and games, to name a few favorites.

Our activities department offers a robust array of activities to ensure that every resident that wants to take part has the ability to do so, as well as offering several different types of activities so that we can find something of interest for everyone. Our memory care unit is proud to have a fulltime activities aid who is passionate about engaging our residents. We enjoy having our memory care residents join us safely for additional events above and beyond our regular activities schedule such as live concerts and shows.

Call pendants, trained and certified staff, open door policy with our administration and great verbal communication with appropriate family members to address any and all concerns.

We offer free transportation on Tuesdays to all local doctors visits, and transportation any other day can be arranged for a nominal fee.

Our Chef prides himself in making delicious home cooked meals for our residents. He hosts a diners club so the residents have a say in what goes onto our menu. We always offer alternative choices and follow any dietary restrictions our residents may have. Daily breakfast includes made to order eggs!

Evergreen Estates has recently changed to pet friendly (certain restrictions apply). We have six enclosed, beautiful courtyards attached to several or our residential rooms as well as a wonderful patio out front.

This number will vary depending on any special events that may be going on so that we can ensure any resident that would like to participate can. We will always meet state requirements on the number of staff needed.

Upon admission to Evergreen Estates and assessment will be performed. Our staff will always note any changes in health or cognitive function and relay that information to the appropriate resident medical professional and our charge nurse.

Evergreen Estates has great relationships with all the hospitals in our area, and has an amazing rapport with our local ambulance associations.
