FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
In house activities such as Bingo, exercise, word games, crafts, singing and dancing with music and entertainers, and outings to restaurants, shopping establishments and other exciting community events.
The Waterford at Dillon Pointe is less than a mile from Spartanburg Regional Hospital Mary Black campus. We are conveniently located close to Main Street and Downtown Spartanburg. There is a Family Dollar within walking distance.
We offer transportation to doctors appointments, grocery stores, and several other locations.
Our chefs at Dillon Pointe prepare our menu items with a southern flare. We offer a main dish with each meal as well as an All Day, Every Day menu with alternates to choose from.
Our residents are all offered an alert pendant that they can keep on them throughout the day and night to ask for assistance from our care team at any hour. Our Memory Care unit is secured with keypad entry and exit.
A newsletter is sent out to families each month to update everyone on our upcoming events and to review our prior month activities. We also have a Facebook page where we post periodic updates about the goings on in the community with pictures of our residents having a fantastic time!
Our ratio is consistent with the State of South Carolina's DHEC ratio; at minimum 1 staff member for every 8 residents during peak hours, and at minimum 1 staff member to every 30 minutes during non-peak hours.
We allow small dogs or cats in our Assisted Living unit if appropriate for the resident. We have a paved walking area around the outside of the community that residents may utilize to walk their pets.
Care staff receives training upon hire, annually, and periodically throughout the year at monthly mandatory in-service trainings.
The Waterford at Dillon Pointe has a secured memory care unit, consisting of one main access door which utilizes a keypad. Each exit door is equipped with alarms to notify staff if the doors are opened. All doors are tied into the community's pendant alert system and fire system as well.
