Our residents here at BDJC have an average age of 85 years.
We currently offer an array of activities that are personable and engaging! We have Be-fit for increased physical well-being, our kunch bunch for social engagement, Sunday Church service to meet spiritual needs, and reminiscing groups to meet emotional needs. We utilize brain games and activities to provide intellectual stimulation. All of these wonderful activities are very well thought out, and provide a sense of purpose to our residents.
We are centrally located close to restaurants and shopping.
We provide busing services to and from shopping centers, restaurants, scenic drives, museums, public function and gatherings, and for medical appointments.
Our dining service partners are fully engaged with the residents and associates alike, so as to make any adjustments in order to fit the individualized diet, request, or need.
We have secure doors. If someone attempts to come in the door will automatically lock. We check residents every two hours around the clock. Pendants are provided to our residents if and when they need immediate assistance.
We have open communication with our families. Our nurses will continually update medical status to the families in person or over the phone. Our direct care staff will also communicate with families when visiting. Our leadership team makes quarterly family connection calls to ensure our quality of service with the families and make sure any issues are promptly addressed.
