Our average age is 88. Bingo and Bfit class are among the favorite things that our residents enjoy. We have a very active community that enjoy being out on the go when possible.

What programs or activities does The Groves at Oak Ridge offer to enrich residents' well-being?

Some of our programs include Befit, Flex your Brain, walking club, Bingo and cards, cooking classes, gardening club, knitting club. We have church groups that come in to do worship services and other entertainers that perform for our residents.

What places are near The Groves at Oak Ridge or within walking distance for assisted living residents to enjoy?

Our beautiful Greenway and Marina is just down the road from our community. Our residents don’t walk there, but rather ride our bus to enjoy picnics, feeding the ducks, walking on the paths as well as enjoy watching the many rowing regattas that take place here.

What You Should Know About The Groves at Oak Ridge

The Groves at Oak Ridge is located just down the road from the beautiful Greenway and Marina. Residents are frequently transported there on the community's bus to have picnics and watch the rowing regattas. The bus is also used to take residents on shopping trips and to their doctor appointments. Personal grooming is catered for at the beauty salon/barbershop, and there's a garden and patio area where residents can exercise their pets. Meals are prepared on-site and served in the shared dining room, with all diets catered for, including kosher, gluten-free and low salt. The community's health care services include medication management by its trained staff, and a nurse is on-site night and day to deal with health issues.
