FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We offer a variety of engaging activities that touch on the physical. spiritual, cognitive and creative needs of the residents. We offer director lead and resident lead games, Bible studies, art clubs, gardening clubs and exercise and wellness opportunities.
Tech Ridge Oaks welcomes furry residents. There is a weight restriction and we require proof of vaccinations. We have an open courtyard with walking trails to take pets outdoors.
We have a passenger van that we use for both fun outings and personal transportation. The residents have a weekly grocery shopping opportunity and a weekly fun outing. We will take residents to their doctor appointments or to personal errands on scheduled days. All transportation is included in the monthly rate.
We have a beautiful walking trail around the community and are located close to a major shopping center, HEB grocery store and many restaurants.
Average age is 85, but the minimum age is 65. Our residents love their community and look after their neighbors. They love to participate in activities and encourage each other. We have very interesting and accomplished residents that love to share their interests and skills with each other and guests in the community.
Tech Ridge Oaks has a trained chef that plans and prepares gourmet meals for the residents. We offer daily specials and perpetual favorites. Soup, salads and desserts are always in accompaniment. Meals are served restaurant style and in courses to encourage socialization and well balanced diets.
Tech Ridge Oaks is licensed Type B and can accommodate higher levels of care. For our residents that are a wander risk, we have a secured memory care community.
Tech Ridge Oaks is a 24 hour watchful oversight community. Our front doors stay open until 7:00p. The doors stay locked after hours and guests are able to use a door bell to gain access to family. Executive Director and Wellness Director are on call to be notified of issues and emergencies.
