FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Our egress doors are alarm activated and we have safety protocols in place to deter residents from leaving the community. We also have our enclosed courtyard which is a safe place for our residents to wander around and get to spend time outdoors.
We offer transportation to doctor's appointments on Tuesday's, we offer shopping trips on Wednesday's, and twice monthly we offier lunch outings at local restaurants for our residents.
Our intimate community allow us to tailor programs to the interests and abilities of our individual residents. We offer a variety of activities to entice all of our residents to participate.
Each of our communities has a secured front entrance and visitors must sign in and out each time they enter and exit the community.
Each of our communities has a monthly newsletter which is shared with residents and their family members. Our dedicated staff is always available to visit with you about your loved ones. We host families and invite them to the community to participate in several activities throughout the year.
Our community is pet-friendly with an enclosed courtyards for our furry friends.
Our staff receives monthly in-service trainings at the community level as well as mandatory monthly online training courses. Many of our staff members are also certified nursing assistants and hold a state license as such.
The average age of residents in AL is 85. Women tend to outnumber men 2 to 1. Favorite activities include Bingo, cards, crafts and musical entertainment.
Our staffing is based upon the individual care needs of our residents as well as the current number of residents. Staffing will vary based upon these ratios.
We serve a variety of options at every meal, with table service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days per week. Our menu is chef prepared and dietician supervised.
