The Talamore is the newest senior community in the growing area of Sun Prairie. We have new residential communities and a wide variety of restaurants, a movie theater and shopping options within a 5 minutes drive.
We have 2 RNs and 2 LPN that do medication management classes, dementia friendly training and monthly all staff trainings.
The average age of our assisted living residents is in the 80
80's. Our residents enjoy a wide range of activities including Bingo, cards, day trips, movies, book clubs, cooking & baking clubs and daily exercise classes.
Our memory area is a locked and secure area.
We have 2 RNs and 2 LPNs on-site as well as fully staffed RAs
We have a nurse that is dedicated to our memory care area and a director of nursing who oversees our memory care nurse. RA'sand nurses keep daily notes on our residents to determine changes in condition. Assessments are done monthly or by request of a family member.
Care staff is based on acuity.
Laundry, house cleaning, medication management, 1-2 person assist, mechanical lift support.
We have a large patio in the center of the building
Day trip to nature preserves, boat trips, wineries, breweries, sports games, casino, ice cream shops, restaurants, ferry rides
The Talamore is not associated with any hospital. We are fortunate to have EMS services a block from our community and they will transport our residents to one of the hospitals nearly which includes St. Mary's, Meriter or UW health.
We have two full time employees for activities. We have a rich programming calendar of on-site and off-site activities. Exercise classes daily, therapy on-site, gym, and full service restaurant.
We have a very active resident ambassador program to help new residents meet other residents as well as learn about the community.
We have a monthly newsletter, open door policy and emails.
There is a safety cord in the bathroom for independent residents and assisted living residents have a pendant to call for help.
Movie theatre, chocolate/ice cream shop, winery, dozens of restaurants, and variety of grocery stores.
Dogs under 40 lbs and cats are allowed. We have an outdoor patio area and a nice walking trail next to the community.

Our Independent residents age mid-80's. They are very active and make up about 40% of the community.
We have an on-site restaurant that has a varied menu with menu items made from scratch, always fresh, never frozen. Residents have at least eight items to choose from for the main entree.
