FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We offer WanderGuard for residents that are deemed a wandering risk. In our memory care section we have delayed egress doors that are continuously monitored by our staff.
All staff go thru one on one training along with monthly compliance training programs.
Estancia provides transportation to all residents, via our bus with a lift and community car.
All residents receive an emergency pendant that is monitored 24 hours a day, We also have pull cords in each apartment, and the exterior doors to the community are protected by video cameras.
Staffing is based on resident needs, and is determined by our Health Services Director.
Mind +Body Wellness is our scientific approach to creating programs that enrich the whole person. From exercise classes, to arts and crafts, to social hours, our resident's daily lives are full of opportunities to thrive and create strong personal connections with others
We have a mix of independent and assisted living residents. Our entire building is licensed for assisted living, meaning residents do not have to move to a different apartment when care services our needed. The average age of our population is 85 years old, and our residents love dining, exercise classes, Bingo, and all of the live entertainment provided by Estancia Del Sol.
We have a walking path for pet owners and several outdoor courtyards. There are plans to construct a dog park on site as well.
Our independent residents make up roughly 25% of the community, and most are very involved in daily activities and happenings at the community. Many enjoy exercise classes, Bingo, outings, and social hours.
Estancia Del Sol is a pet friendly community. We have an outdoor walking path with doggy stations, and have a number of residents that have dogs or cats residing at Estancia Del Sol with them.
Within a short distance from the community are theaters, restaurants, senior centers, parks, and shopping centers.
We have a full time activities director in our Connected For Living(Memory Care) section of the community. Residents do a variety of activities each day from exercise, to arts/crafts, to brain games, and more. We offer a very structured daily schedule to keep our memory care residents engaged and thriving.
We have a fitness center, theater room, bistro, living room, bar, outdoor courtyards, a bocce ball court, and walking paths around the entire community .
We staff appropriately on all shifts to provide needed care and a timely response to any emergency situations.
We have exterior video cameras on all access doors of the community, and they are monitored by our staff. All apartments have a pull cord emergency response system, and residents are issued a pendant necklace that provides 24 hour a day emergency response as well. All apartments were constructed with roll in showers and built in grab bars.
We do monthly in service training for all staff.
We are within walking distance to Walmart, as well as numerous food establishments, nail salons, car wash, and LA Fitness. Nearby are a number of churches, parks, and a senior center.
Casino outings, museums, and trips to watch plays.
We provide local transportation for our residents (10 mile radius within our community) and have several vehicles with lifts for those that have accessibility needs. We also do various outings each month and provide transportation for our residents.
We have a concierge doctor through Senior Dc that is on site three times each week.
Both our Health Services Director, and Connected For Living Director assess residents general condition and cognitive functioning.
We offer all day dining in our restaurant from 7:00am-7:00pm, and have both an all day menu, as well as several lunch and dinner specials each day. Our MBK Cuisine program is the combination of nutritious, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented meals that any foodie would love!
We have an app called Connected Living, that allows family members to get updates on happenings in the community, and see their loved ones participating in various activities.
We offer all day dining from 7:00am-7:00pm. Our Executive Chef and his team, go out of their way to make sure the residents have an exceptional dining experience. He meets with our residents on a monthly basis to discuss the dining program, changes they would like to see, and upcoming special events.
