Our commitment to serving our residents comes from the top down with our company owners' involvement and accessibility with the management team. Their passion and vision are experienced throughout the design of the community with features like wall mounted smart TVs in each apartment, select apartments with balconies, water and/or courtyard views.
Upon entering the community, you will experience our elegant yet coastal aesthetic in our lobby area featuring a baby grand piano, chic fireplace and tended bar. There is an abundance of natural light coming through oversized windows and an airy feeling accentuated by the high ceilings and wide corridors. Enjoy spending time outside in the open-air courtyards complete with walking paths, gardening and yard games or relax in the screened-in patios. Some of the amenities include a movie theater, a stage in the restaurant for live performances, and more.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Prior to moving in, our Memory Care Director and Wellness director will assess each resident and every 6 months or upon change of condition.
Once we open for tours by late fall 2023 and move ins by early winter 2024, our residents will come from a diverse background with ages starting at 62, but averaging upper 70s to low 80s. We already have prospective residents who have reserved apartments and they are a diverse group known as our Founders Club. We are already offering pre-opening events at local restaurants as a way to get to know future neighbors and stay updated on our construction progress. Once move ins begin (in January most likely) they will enjoy a plethora of fun, stimulating resident programs and activities. We will welcome our residents' input and suggestions.
We are adjacent to Pines City Center which boasts many exciting eateries, fine-dining establishments, shopping including Publix, medical centers and more! There are also attractive residential condominium neighborhoods in the immediate vicinity.
We will follow the guidelines for the State of Florida ensuring our residents will always have sufficient staff present.
We will utilize all possible resources to communicate including phone calls, texts, emails and scheduled meetings. There will always be those organic conversations that occur face to face as well, and we certainly will have an open-door policy.
We will provide transportation for residents to their medical appointments within 10 miles as a courtesy. We will provide group transportation for scheduled resident excursions or outings.
We will utilize all possible resources to communicate including phone calls, texts, emails and scheduled meetings. There will always be those organic conversations that occur face to face as well, and we certainly will have an open-door policy.
Staff provides to cue encourage resident to eat as well as hand over hand/feeding residents who need that support.
Once we are open, our staffing ladder will increase according to residents' needs.
We will have staff present 24/7 and security cameras at each entrance. We are only .6 miles from Pembroke Pines City Hall and there is law enforcement presence in the area.
We are focused on person centered care and courteous support tailored to personal preferences and routines. We will engage residents via our special programming called It's Still Me as well as our senior engagement technology called iN2L.
We are not affiliated but will have the support of the Memorial Healthcare System hospitals for our residents. The closest hospitals are Memorial West, Memorial Pembroke, Memorial Regional and Cleveland Clinic is also only 10 miles away. We will also work with nearby skilled nursing facilities such as Memorial Manor, Glades West Rehab, West Broward Rehab, Encompass and more.
We are adjacent to Pines City Center which boasts many exciting eateries, fine-dining establishments, shopping including Publix, medical centers and more! We are across the street from Doris Italian Market and Bakery, various restaurants, etc. We are truly in the heart of Pembroke Pines which offers so much variety. There are also attractive residential condominium neighborhoods in the immediate vicinity.
Residents will enjoy a monthly calendar full of physical, creative, intellectual and spiritual activities. They will have input and make suggestions that we can implement. We will utilize the many great places in the area for exciting excursions that residents can sign up for. We are speaking with a local university about their Osher Life Long Learning lecture series.
Our residents will enjoy a variety of menu options to select from 3 times a day. We will have an always available menu along with daily specials. Our chef will enjoy a state-of-the-art kitchen in which to create delicious and nutritious delicacies for our residents.
Residents who require protection from wandering will reside in our memory care which is a safe and secure portion of the community.
We have an ongoing system that requires staff to train monthly.
We will assure all staff will be required to take initial Alzheimer's training followed by ongoing monthly training.
We are accepting dogs and cats with some size/behavior restrictions. All pets will need to provide evidence of current vaccinations. There will be an area on the side of our building for dog owners to utilize.
