Our Assisted Living is a lovely four-bedroom, three-bathroom home customized with elegant furnishings and light fixtures. Large entertainment rooms, and luxurious dining and seating areas provide the perfect atmosphere for independence and relaxation.
It is our objective to care for your loved one in a compassionate, dignified and loving manner. Your family member will be treated like family! Our size makes it possible for your loved one to form close relationships with other residents and to thrive in a home-like setting.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Residents can feel safe in our facility, as Jacob's is located one block away from the Plantation Police and Fire Departments. Jacob's is apart of a beautiful and lush neighborhood in Plantation, with neighboring parks and playgrounds. Looking for a place to shop, or take Mom and Dad out for dinner? Look no further because the Fountains of Plantation are located less than a mile away. The Fountains is a premier shopping destination with many dining, and entertainment options. The Fountains is a stone's throw from Fort Lauderdale and features extensive retail and food options, including DICK'S Sporting Goods, Kohl's, Marshalls, Red Lobster, Petland, Chili's, Five Guys, as well as many more popular retailers and restaurants.
Cats and dogs cannot reside at Jacob's Tender Loving Care, but families are welcome to bring fully vaccinated pets to visit residents. Dogs and cats should be on leash unless they are less than 12 weeks old.
The staff is provided with training upon hire. Training includes Assistance with ADL's, as elopement, fire drills, etc. All current staff members have taken the 26 hour Administrator's course, and are encouraged to continue online training for compensation.
Residents families are contacted through call or text. We treat all of our residents as family, and are open to calls or text 24 hours a day. We are a small facility, here to provide quality care and we can only do that with a partnership between ourselves and the family.
Jacob's has a security system installed, as well as fencing all around the property.
All residents of Jacob's Tender Loving Care Assisted Living Facility can expect quality nutritious dining. Not a fan of a dinner or lunch option? Talk to chef, and a substitution can be made. That's the great thing of being in a small facility, your voice is actually heard.
Jacobs is a standard facility with six beds, with 3 staff members the ratio is 1 staff member for every two residents.
Here at Jacob's, we have 24/7 staff, a security system, outdoor and indoor Cameras, and door alarms
Jacob's offers activities and programs that enrich and reinforce positive feelings within our residents.
The average age of our residents is 85 years old. Some of their favorite things to do are karaoke, arts and crafts, puzzles, group exercise and relaxing next to the pool.
Jacob's will work with residents and their family, to transport or assist or residents to find transportation, to their appointments and errands.
