What You Should Know About House of Hope Alzheimer's Care
Established in the fall of 2003, this community was designed specifically for people in the early to middle stages of Alzheimers AND their families.
The 50,000 square foot building is made up of six neighborhoods, with 10?11 private apartments each. To feel at home, each neighborhood has a kitchen, a family-style dining room, a living room, a washer/dryer, and a whirlpool bath. Those are the things you see. What you dont see is truly what sets us apart.
Its called the Vigil Dementia Monitoring System. Designed and manufactured in Canada, it calls for assistance when residents are unable to do so; helping caregivers provide care when and where it is needed. Theres nothing for the resident to wear. Its all done through sensors.
And thats just the neighborhoods. Outside of those, youll find a community room/chapel, a 50s diner with an authentic soda fountain, a library, a beauty/barber shop, and a beautiful dining area with a deck that overlooks the largest of our three courtyards!
