Oak Park Place Dubuque is situated in a busy suburb of Dubuque, Iowa, just one mile from Kennedy Mall and three miles from Finley Hospital. Assisted living staff members provide a high standard of care while encouraging residents to maintain a sense of independence. The Grove assisted living neighborhood allows residents to customize their apartments to reflect their individual preferences. It's connected to other community neighborhoods by the Main Street Mall, which is designed to resemble Dubuque as it was years ago. There is a beauty salon, cafe and convenience store as well as an on-site fitness center, library and game room where residents can relax and socialize. The staff also organizes activities based on what piques residents' interests, such as chair yoga exercises, knitting group meetings and trips to museums, through the Vibrant Activities program.
What Residents are Saying:
Families comment that Oak Park Place has attentive staff members, good food and fun amenities. One resident's family member writes, "He's in assisted living and has adjusted very well. Loves the food and ice cream parlor. The staff is always responsive to his needs and our questions … His family knows he is safe and well cared for."

Our Methodology

It’s not what we research, but the way we research that makes AssistedLiving.org stand out. We start by identifying problems and challenges in the senior care industry by gaining insight from conversations with industry professionals, older adults, and those that care for them. Next, our research team led by industry experts apply our data-driven research techniques to understand the magnitude of the challenge and how to overcome it. Finally, we present our findings in easy-to-understand guides and studies and share our actionable results with influencers and caregivers, as well as the general public.
