Aberdeen Village is a nonprofit community that takes inspiration from Christian values and offers seniors a full-service continuum of care as their needs change. It encourages residents to maintain their independence while receiving the support they need with everyday tasks, such as dressing, bathing, grooming and medication management. Caregivers are on hand 24/7, and hydrotherapy and physical, occupational and speech therapies are available for seniors requiring additional treatment. A calendar of scheduled events allows residents to remain physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually engaged with the community and includes educational programs, fitness classes, bridge groups, games, ice cream socials, concerts and excursions to local attractions. In their free time, seniors can swim in the indoor pool, read by the fireplace in the library, practice their golf on the putting green, take a walk in the grounds or enjoy a coffee with friends in the Cappuccino Bar.
What Residents are Saying:

The staff is excellent and very good ... the food was excellent. Everything about the place was top-notch. They have library spaces and meeting areas ... My father-in-law was in a single room, which was well-kept."

Our Methodology

It’s not what we research, but the way we research that makes AssistedLiving.org stand out. We start by identifying problems and challenges in the senior care industry by gaining insight from conversations with industry professionals, older adults, and those that care for them. Next, our research team led by industry experts apply our data-driven research techniques to understand the magnitude of the challenge and how to overcome it. Finally, we present our findings in easy-to-understand guides and studies and share our actionable results with influencers and caregivers, as well as the general public.
