We are a warm elegant residential community that provides full assisted living and memory care for the entire remaining period of our residents lives. Chester Street becomes home to our residents and their families. All rooms are private, with bath rooms, showers, cable TV service and a private telephone number. Our purpose is to make the lives of our residents and their families a nice as possible under their individual circumstances. Our goal is to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE, ALL DAY, EVERY DAY for the benefit of our residents and their families.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
Chester Street Residence is a locked and secure community. Therefore, residents cannot wander outside the building on their own.
We send out Community emails and all families have direct access to our Leadership team any time.
We work exclusively with a Food Catering company that uses our full commercial sized kitchen to make all meals fresh before serving. This allows us to accommodate special diet and food requirements for individual Residents.
We are a locked and secure Community. We have relationships that allow us to bring needed services to the Resident directly. These include the following:
- Weekly visits with our Geriatric Doctor
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Skilled Nursing
-Wound Care
- Podiatry
- Audiology
- Dentistry
We have daily activities that include Exercise, Art Therapy, Games, Trivia, Church & Ice Cream, Memory Magic, Concerts and Musical Entertainment, Magic Shows, Manicure Parties, Movies & Popcorn.
We have a diverse group of residents including both men and women. The majority of our Residents are between 80 - 100 yet we have had younger residents based on their current condition or needs. Our residents enjoy many things in our Community including morning and afternoon activities, enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner together and hanging out together in our common areas. It is awesome to watch them make new friends at this stage of their lives.
Residents are assessed by a team of both internal staff and our primary care physicians and nurses. If needed, specialists are included such as psychiatry and wound care doctors.
For residents who need additional help eating, we have a special time for them to eat before our standard meal times. This allows us to provide more one on one assistance during these meals while still giving them the socialization of eating in our main dining room.
We are located less than 3 miles from Beaumont Hospital.
We work with 3 transportation company's that specialize in transporting seniors. All transportation services have wheelchair access. Many times we help family's coordinate this service when needed.
Residents enjoy both morning and afternoon activities that include art therapy, fitness & exercise, craft making, painting, bingo (of course) and a variety of musical entertainment. We decorate for all the annual Holidays and make sure any big sporting event is on so Residents can watch together.
We do not accept dogs or cats. We do, however, allow them in the building to visit.
We are located in a residential neighborhood so families can take their loved one for a stroll through the neighborhood.
