Sitting high atop a beautiful hill that overlooks Beaver Lake in Derry, Beaver Lake Lodge Assisted Living is a small community that can give more personalized attention to each senior. Residents receive assistance with their activities of daily living, such as eating, getting dressed, grooming and hygiene. Seniors have their own private room with a bathroom and are encouraged to make their beds and pick up after themselves daily to help them stay physically active and independent. Weekly laundry and maid service are provided, along with three healthy old-fashioned homemade meals and snacks throughout the day. Many daily social activities are scheduled to increase emotional and mental health and a sense of well-being. Weekly worship services, scenic drives, shopping trips and dining out are a few of the fun activities residents look forward to.
