What You Should Know About Overlake Terrace
We will provide hygiene services as agreed upon in the resident's negotiated service agreement. Overlake Terrace serves residents with dementia whether or not they require a secure environment, as long as there is space available in the secure unit. Overlake Terrace also serves residents with a diagnosis of depression. All other mental illness diagnosis must be assessed as appopriate to be cared for in the community by the nurse prior to any agreement ot move-in and on an on-going basis for changes in condition and/or for continued residency in the community. Overlake Terrace will not accept or retain any resident who poses a risk of harm to self or others, including verbal or physical aggresion.

We have a community bus and a Towncar for scheduled trips, there is local bus transportation very near and the new light rail to Redmond and Downtown Bellevue has a station within 500ft of our driveway.
Transportation 6 days a week to medical and varied errands within a 7-mile radius of 98052 zipcode.
Although the surrounding neighborhood is changing all the time and we have seen many residential apartments pop up in the surrounding area, we have about 5 acres of trees and walking paths or sidewalks around our community.
We perform an assessment prior to entry, another at about 14 days and annually or as needed when we see a change in condition.
Bellevue and Redmond have a wide variety of activities available, many different restaurants for almost any palate and multiple large shopping malls within 17 miles.
We offer a 39-apartment secure Memory Care community with trained staff.
We have multiple activity rooms, exercise rooms, a library, theater, dining room etc.
Overlake Plaza includes: Safeway, Goodwill, Fed Meyers, Trader Joe's, Microsoft, closely located to various restaurants and services.

Eat as much or as little as you'd like with All Day Dining from 7:00AM - 7:00PM includes: homemade soup of the day, lunch and dinner salad specials as well as three entree specials; Daily Menu is also available featuring made-to-order sandwiches, salads, pasta, burgers and desserts.
Our Executive Director publishes a "Friday Update" which reviews all department information and any "need to know" details regarding our community happenings, this is emailed to all family members and delivered to residents every Friday morning. Regarding meetings or concerns, we do our very best to reply well within 24-hours or less.
As part of our monthly rent, we include a Safety Pendant for all residents as well as pull cords in bathrooms and nursing 7 days a week; our Care Team has an expectation to respond to pendant calls in 3-5 minutes or less. We also offer Physical & Cognitive Therapy on-site 5 days a week through Agility Physical Therapy.
We have our own care staff with an LPN as our director of care. We also have on site agency for physical/occupational therapy who can bill directly to your insurance.
Staff on duty 24 hours per day, bathroom pull chord alarm and concierge in the lobby.
The Aviation Museum and Casinos are popular.
We have a dedicated memory care activities coordinator who provides many activities for our Rising Star memory care residents.
We have residents living at Overlake Terrace ranging from 60 - 101 years old; our Life Enrichment teams offer 6-9 varying activities to participate or ignore - up to the individual resident! If a residents wants something on the calendar they don't see - just ask and they're delighted to implement it on the calendar!
Our residents typically range in their mid to upper 80's and we have a wide variety of activities that are chosen by the residents. Today they are scheduled to go to the casino.
