Woodland Hills Assisted Living is a small family-owned community located approximately 30 miles north of Wheeling, West Virginia, in Weirton. The wheelchair-accessible building features a homelike interior and alarmed external doors for enhanced security. Residents receive home-cooked daily meals and personal assistance with eating, toileting, grooming, bathing and medications from 24/7 on-duty caregivers. In addition, a registered nurse is on-call around the clock, and licensed nurses are on-site 16 hours a day to provide healthcare services. A community activity program offers daily opportunities for recreation and social engagement. Seniors can also participate in on-site holiday festivities and multifaith religious observances. All resident rooms have laminated hardwood floors and private restrooms. In-room private phone line and cable services are available. The quiet grounds border wildlife-rich woods and feature a spacious patio with a sun setter awning and outdoor seating.
