Sellwood Senior Living specializes in customized care for each of our residents in Assisted Living. We provide a variety of daily activities and outings for our residents' enjoyment. We are extremely proud that our residents are treated like family here and we provide a home-like environment that is wonderful.
In our community, we offer kind and compassionate care to our residents who are independent or needing extra support with their Activities of Daily Life (ADLs) and beyond. We offer peace of mind to the family members and loved on'ss who allow us to welcome these residents into our family. We make it a priority that our new residents can transition easily. This is perfect for those folks who may have anxiety about the new move. We have open communication, so that family members and loved ones have access to how they are handling this new experience.
Our beautiful community is in a unique setting. It is surrounded by charming residential areas but has a very urban vibe. We have 4 restaurants within 2 blocks from our front door. All easy walking for our residents. There is a quaint, little mini mart within a rock throw from our building. This allows our residents the convenience to get items that they might want or need on their own. Amazing for their sense of independence and freedom.
The eclectic and artisan atmosphere here is authentic, where each resident is appreciated for their individuality. It is a blend of many interesting folks with diverse backgrounds. All are special in their own way. Our amazing residents really do feel that this is their forever home.
Our committed team of seasoned nurses and caregivers are trained and experienced to support all types of resident needs. We are here to support each one of our residents' ADLs, and in turn offer family members peace of mind knowing they are getting the best possible care.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We talk to our family members on the phone, send communications via email and mail. We also make sure when a Resident moves in that we know exactly what kind of communication each family member would like to have. Our Facebook page is a great way to see your loved one participating in activities and keep updated about community events!
We have many restaurants within driving or walking distance to enjoy. We are also close to several parks in the heart of historical Sellwood.
We are staffed 24 hours a day so our Residents are never alone. Our exterior doors are kept open during business hours. We have a state of the art fire system to alert the staff of any problems. We also have a safety committee to address any safety issues in the Community.
Our staff receive a minimum of 2 hours a month of continuing education.
We do accept cats and dogs that are 25 lbs or smaller. We have outdoor areas on each end of the Community for our animals to visit.
During the day and evening we have 3 Caregivers and 1 Med Tech. During the night we have 1 Caregiver and 1 Med Tech.
We have an onsite driver who takes residents to nearby medical appointments, shopping trips, religious services, banks, postal services and more.
We have restaurant style dining and our meals are prepared fresh daily. We have several options at each meal including an any time menu for those nights you just have to have a pancake!
Our average age is 75. Our residents love to gather in the lobby each night and play Trivial Pursuit. They laugh a lot and reminisce about "the good ol days".
Although we are not Memory Care, all of our exterior doors are alarmed in the evening. This alerts the staff of any comings and goings.
We offer sit and fit exercises, book club, Wii bowling, gardening, crossword and many other activities to engage our minds and bodies.
