One-level living in the heart of Apple Valley. All studio units feature large windows, private bathroom and shower. Public areas offer a cozy, home-like feel with skylights and bright windows throughout. Our gazebo overlooks a beautiful pond with wildlife and provides a calm and serene spot for relaxing or visits with friends and family. Close to dining and shopping.
Residents may move in a dorm-sized refrigerator for their own personal snacks and beverages. Our community layout is unique and each apartment is close to dining areas, activities and the caregivers who provide resident services. Pendants are issued to residents for any needs they may have. Residents age in place in the unit they know as home, and additional services can be added to suit their specific care needs. Two physician options are available onsite, or you can keep your current medical provider. Audiology and podiatry services are also available in-house.
Phone with long-distance, basic cable, all utilities and WiFi are included in rental.
We do accept Elderly Waiver/Medical Assistance.

FAQ About Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care
We have weekly communications with updates, and also provide our newsletter with upcoming information monthly. Individual resident communications are handled by our clinical team either upon a change of condition, concern, or upon request by families.
Our Clinical Director or RN complete assessments at move in for each resident. Another assessment is completed upon change of condition or every 90 days.
Our location is close to several options for dining and a variety of shopping!
Our location is close to several options for dining and a variety of shopping! We are nestled on a beautiful pond with a variety of wildlife. We are mostly residential housing surrounding our building with a daycare backing up to our memory care patio and a small dental office across the parking lot.
Residents can choose from 1, 2 or 3 meal a day plans. We offer alternate selections to residents who want something other than what is offered on our regular menu. We are able to accommodate the individual needs of residents by providing physical assistance with dining, texture modified meals and thickened liquids as well.
Residents are provided with a pendant to notify their caregiver when they need assistance. Our main entry door is locked from 8:00 p.m. until 6:a.m. and those coming after hours can gain access by ringing the bell.
We do offer memory care options with secure entry and exits.
We are not affiliated with a hospital, however Fairview Ridges is just 10-15 minutes away.
Three staff members during day/night shifts for 20 residents in our house 3 area, and two staff members for 15 residents in our house 2 area.
Staff have annual trainings that are to be completed annually as well as ongoing trainings at our staff meetings and hands-on trainings for new staff. A minimum of 8 hours of trainings specifically geared toward working with those living with dementia are required annually.
Our activities team meets individually with new residents to provide individualized and customized to provide person-centered activities based on each resident's interests. Our group activities include a daily exercise program and a variety of games and activities for small or large groups to include cards, puzzles, adult coloring, bingo, Bible studies, church services, music and more!
We do have outdoor patios as well as walking areas around the community.
Residents with pets must be able to care for them and keep up with regular visits to veterinarian.

Our residents range in age from 70 to 102. Our activities are geared toward meeting a resident where they are at physically, and are easily modified to help residents with doing what they are able to do. Bingo, music, exercise and games to promote their counting, word finding and problem solving are always enjoyed by those we serve.
Our activities team meets individually with new residents to provide individualized and customized to provide person-centered activities based on each resident's interests. Our group activities include a daily exercise program and a variety of games and activities for small or large groups to include cards, puzzles, adult coloring, bingo, Bible studies, church services, music and more! These programs are specifically designed to promote ease of participation for those living with dementia such as picture bingo, finish the famous quotes and name that famous person, and of course: MUSIC!
