Channing House

Located in Palo Alto, Channing House is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community that offers tiered care options to handle residents' needs appropriately. The community, offers assisted living, independent living and skilled nursing services. Seniors at Channing House can enjoy themselves in a calm environment without losing access to the Bay Area's countless parks, hospitals, shopping centers and wildlife preserves. Channing House accommodates residents' medical needs by partnering with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation to bring local physicians on campus for checkups, medication refills and other medical services. Through Channing House's long-running Resident Association, elected resident leaders deal directly with the community's administrators and Board of Trustees, helping residents maintain high standards of living.
